Rome, Italy – Aviomar Flight Academy welcomed the latest class of ab-initio cadets at the Ryanair Future Flyer Academy. The Ryanair Future Flyer Academy offers aspiring pilots with little to no prior experience a part-sponsored flight training program, providing a direct path to becoming a Ryanair pilot.
- The Ryanair Future Flyer Academy (formerly the Ryanair Mentored Programme) offers individuals the opportunity to train for a Commercial Pilot Licence with Ryanair-approved partner schools.
- Three training routes are available, catering to different experience levels and individual needs, all developed in line with Ryanair’s Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- The Integrated Ab-initio and Modular Gateway 1 programs will now come with a conditional job offer from Ryanair upon enrolment. Additionally, candidates will receive a bonded B737 type rating as part of their training package, positioning them directly on the path to a career with Ryanair upon successful completion of the program.
- Over 80% of cadets enrolled in October’s Ryanair type rating courses are graduates of Ryanair’s training programmes.
- Ryanair announced that in the future, the only pathway to join the airline as a cadet will be through the Ryanair Future Flyer Academy, with the “whitetail route” being phased out.
