In response to the looming pilot shortage, Alaska Airlines announced it will suspend flights to Honolulu, Hawaii for almost six months starting in June running into November of this year. Nevertheless, the airline assured it will resume flights by November as “we continue to adjust our operating schedule to meet our staffing levels,” said Alaska Airlines Public Affairs Manager Tim Thompson in a statement to Alaska’s News Service.
