Etihad Airways to Host Numerous First Officer Recruitment Events in Italy, Spain and the UK in June and July 2025

Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates – Etihad Airways is hosting pilot recruitment / assessment events in multiple European city’s in June and July 2025 seeking Airbus A320 First Officer’s.

The pilot recruitment team will visit the following city’s:

  • Milan, Italy on 11th, 12th and 13th June
  • Madrid, Spain on 18th, 19th and 20th June
  • London Gatwick, United Kingdom in July
  • Rome, Italy in July

What Etihad Airway’s offer’s:

  • Opportunity to earn up to 513,732 AED (USD 138,318) tax-free per annum based on 75 hours of flying per month
  • Education allowance of AED 40,000 for primary and AED 55,000 for secondary, for up to 3 children
  • 42 days of annual leave
  • Income protection scheme and much more

Some of the candidate requirement’s they seek:

  • A minimum of 2500 hours total flying time.
  • A minimum of 1500 hours on multi crew, glass cockpit (1) or high performance military jet.
  • 500 hours should be on one of the A320 Family
  • Flown any Airbus FBW within the last 12 months
  • Type rating on A320 should be valid for a minimum of 2 months at the time of joining.
  • ICAO current and unrestricted ATPL. We do not accept Frozen ATPL unless held by a UAE citizen.
  • Current on A320.
  • Unrestricted, current Class 1 medical.
  • Maximum age limit is 50 years old.

Florida, United States – headquartered flight and aircraft maintenance training group Epic Flight Academy hosted representatives from regional airline Mesa Airlines at its New Smyrna Beach campus in May 2025 to present career pathways to its pilot students.

Such visits support ongoing industry engagement efforts by Epic to link students with airline hiring pipelines.

Earlier in the month Epic Flight Academy shared that it had expanded to nine campuses across the United States. Becoming the largest FAA Part 141 flight school network footprint in the country, the expansion includes three newly approved locations in Colorado, Utah, and Alabama.

  • New Campus in Centennial Airport (KAPA), Englewood, Colorado

  • New Campus in St. George Regional Airport (KSGU), Utah

  • New Campus in Tuscaloosa National Airport (KTCL), Alabama

  • Grand openings for the new locations are scheduled for June and July 2025.

  • Epic’s existing flight training locations are in: New Smyrna Beach (Florida), Jacksonville (Florida), Ocala (Florida), Tallahassee (Florida). Tucson (Arizona) and Addison (Texas).

  • Epic employs 245 staff nationally, including 118 flight instructors, and prioritizes the recruitment of Epic-trained instructors to maintain instructional quality and consistency.

In addition to the growing flight training base network Epic Flight Academy has submitted a letter of intent for self-examining authority.
