Greece – Global Aviation SA, in partnership with Aegean Airlines, has officially welcomed the 2025 Cadet Group into its professional flight training program.
- Since 2018 the Aegean Airlines Pilot Scholarship Programme has supported more than 180 young people to take their first steps in the industry.
- The program is a full-time course with a duration of 17 to 19 months and significantly facilitates the access of new talents to a demanding and high-cost career path, since the total cost of the tuition for a future pilot, including the type rating, exceeds 90,000 euros.
- AEGEAN’s total investment in the specific initiative exceeds 7 million euros.
Global Aviation SA offers various training programs, including ATPL Integrated, ATPL Modular, CPL-IR-MEP Modular, and ICAO to EASA Conversion courses.
Having its administrative and ground school base in Athens, Greece, and its flying base in the Civil Aviation Airport of Pachi, Megara (LGMG), Global Flight Academy has been training pilots for private and commercial courses, since 1997.

Phoenix, United States – headquartered global flight training group AeroGuard Flight Training Center, which operates a number of flight training bases in the United States, has welcomed its fourth class of Cadets from Air India to its Phoenix, Arizona, USA campus.
AeroGuard announced its selection by Air India to be a flight training provider for the airline in early 2024. Since this time, cadets have gone through a carefully structured screening process and have successfully completed the DGCA Ground School portion of their training in India. These Cadets are now at AeroGuard’s Arizona campus where they will complete their practical flight training, earning the certifications and ratings required for their careers with airline.
