- Skyborne Airline Academy serves as one of the key training providers for the program, delivering high-quality flight training at Gloucestershire Airport and in the United States.
In early February, British Airways and Skyborne Airline Academy announced the opening of applications for the 2025 Speedbird Pilot Academy. Skyborne was announced as the official UK partner for the Speedbird Pilot Academy in September 2023.

Emirates Recruitment Team to Hold Pilot Roadshow in Singapore in March 2025
Dubai, United Arab Emirates – Emirates is hosting a Pilot Roadshow in Singapore from March 4-5, 2025. The airline seeks experienced commercial pilots for various positions, including Direct Entry Captains, First Officers (Type Rated and Non-Type Rated), and candidates for the Accelerated Command Programme.
- Recruitment sessions will take place on 4 March (13:00–18:00) and 5 March (from 10:00), with no prior registration required.
- Currently, 32 Singaporean pilots are employed by Emirates.
- The airline operates a fleet of over 191 aircraft, including recently introduced A350s, with 205 Boeing 777Xs and 65 A350s on order.
- Direct Entry Captain candidates require at least 7,000 hours of multi-crew, multi-engine airline flying experience.
- The Accelerated Command Programme targets Airbus and Boeing Captains with narrow-body experience, offering a fast-tracked path to command roles.
- First Officer roles are open to pilots with a minimum of 2,000 hours on multi-engine, multi-crew aircraft over 20 tonnes MTOW. Non-type-rated pilots are also welcomed.

Italian Pilot Training Group Aviomar Flight Academy Welcomes February 2025 Ryanair Future Flyer Academy Intake
Italy – Aviomar Flight Academy, which operates full flight simulator and abinitio flight training operations, has welcomed a new batch of students into the Ryanair Future Flyer Academy Ab-initio course. The collaboration between Aviomar and Ryanair aims to streamline pilot recruitment and ensure a steady pipeline of qualified pilots for Europe’s largest low-cost carrier.
In November 2024 Aviomar Flight Academy announced that they will be opening a brand-new training centre for aspiring airline pilots at Parma International Airport in 2025. As part of this new investment plan, Aviomar will develop a purpose-built 2000sqm flight training centre in northern Italy with the capacity to train in excess of 150 trainees per year. The training facility will be primarily dedicated to the Ryanair Future Flyer Academy cadet training programmes.
The new base will feature a hangar for the new aircraft fleet and a training centre comprising of flight operations and maintenance offices, classrooms for theoretical instruction and two flight simulators (Diamond DA42 FSTD and Boeing 737-8200 MAX FSTD). The Flight Training Centre will be powered by solar energy produced by the 1,000 m2 of photovoltaic panels embedded in new eco-friendly hangar.
Aviomar Flight Academy has delivered ab-initio training to over a thousand pilots and is the preferred training provider for 12 European operators, including Ryanair, the No. 1 airline in Europe – Aviomar is the only Ryanair official training partner in Italy.
As part of this agreement, the Ryanair Future Flyer Academy flight training courses will be offered not only at the Rome Training Centres but also at the new Parma Flight Training Centre.
