Airbus Announces Commercial Aircraft Orders and Deliveries for the Month of June 2025

Global – In June 2025, aircraft manufacturer Airbus:

  • Delivered 63 aircraft to 35 customers
    • 12 A220-300
    • 20 A320neo
    • 23 A321neo
    • 1 A330-200
    • 2 A330-900
    • 5 A350-900
  • Secured 203 gross orders
  • Year to date Airbus has delivered 306 aircraft to 65 customers.

In May 2025, Airbus reported 51 aircraft deliveries.

CAE Vienna Hosts Diplomats as Europe’s First Global 7500 Simulator Goes Live

Vienna, Austria – Global aviation training provider CAE has officially hosted Canadian and Austrian dignitaries at its new CAE Vienna Training Center, including Canadian Ambassador to Austria, H.E. Troy Lulashnyk, and representatives from the Austrian Ministry of Defence. The visit coincided with recent operational milestones at the center, which now houses Europe’s first Bombardier Global 7500 full-flight simulator (FFS) as part of a broader expansion of business aviation training infrastructure in Central Europe.

  • CAE Vienna is the company’s first business aviation training center in Central Europe, having welcomed its first customers in April 2025.

  • The site currently operates a Gulfstream G550 simulator and Europe’s first Global 7500 FFS.

  • Additional full-flight simulators to be deployed include:

    • Bombardier Global Vision and Embraer Phenom 100/300 simulators (summer 2025)

    • Bombardier Challenger 3500 (October 2025)

    • Pilatus PC-24 (second half of 2026)

  • Once fully developed, the 8,000 sq. ft facility will host up to nine simulators.

  • The new center supports growing demand for business aviation training in Europe and provides increased simulator access for operators flying long-range and super-midsize jets.

Middle East and Europe Flight Training Group Intercontinental Aviation Academy to Open base in Portugal

Middle East and Europe – Intercontinental Aviation Enterprise (IAE), a global aviation investment and management holding company,  has shared new developments under its IAE Vision 2030 for Training, positioning its training arm, Intercontinental Aviation Academy (FlyIAA), as a major multi-country pilot training network across Europe and the Middle East.

  • IAE Vision 2030 for Training was launched in early 2025 to develop a global, integrated pilot training ecosystem under the FlyIAA brand.

  • The UAE will host FlyIAA’s flagship academy, opening in September 2025. The initial “Founders’ Batch” is nearly full, reflecting early market demand.

  • In Cyprus, FlyIAA operates in joint venture with Cyprus Airways Flying Academy at Larnaca International Airport. The 2025 intake is fully booked.

  • IAA Greece, launched via joint venture with Cretan Eagle Aviation, is targeting Southeast Europe and is already halfway to its 2025 enrolment goal.

  • The Lebanon campus remains operationally stable and fully subscribed despite broader regional challenges.

  • In the UAE, FlyIAA has partnered with Pier Seven Aviation to offer a full pilot training pathway including Type Rating and MPL, under both EASA and GCAA approvals.

  • A new FlyIAA base is under development in Portugal

  • Fleet expansion includes new Diamond DA40/DA42 and Elixir Aircraft, with 70% of the FlyIAA fleet currently being upgraded or replaced.
