Global Flight Training Group Airways Aviation’s ESMA Cadets Visit French Air Force Base in 2025
France – Airways Aviation, one of the largest aviation and pilot training group’s in the world operating pilot training academies across Europe, the Middle East, Asia/Australia, India and Africa, has shared that its France based operations Airways Aviation ESMA’s ATPL students from Classes 05/2024 and 09/2024, including navy officers from the French Navy (Marine Nationale), visited Air Base 701 of the French Air and Space Force (Armée de l’air et de l’espace). The visit provided valuable insights into military pilot training and the operational capabilities of the base.
- The visit included attending a winter training session of the Patrouille de France, the French Air Force aerobatic team operating Alpha Jets from Dassault Aviation and Dornier.
- Cadets had the opportunity to engage with the team leader and members of the Patrouille de France.
- The experience offered a unique perspective for both civilian and navy pilot cadets on advanced formation flying and aerobatics.
