Spartan College of Aeronautics and Technology to Exhibit at FAMEX 2025, Seeking to Train Mexico’s Future Aviation Professionals

USA & Mexico – Spartan College of Aeronautics and Technology is proud to announce its participation as an exhibitor at the Feria Aeroespacial México (FAMEX) 2025, taking place from April 23 to 26 at the Santa Lucía Military Air Base. Spartan invites aspiring aviation professionals from Mexico to explore training opportunities with them in the U.S.A.

Spartan College of Aeronautics and Technology was established in 1928 and boasts a rich history in aviation education. Over the years, Spartan has had the privilege of training more than 100,000 pilots and technicians from the United States and over 40 other countries, including Mexico. Spartan College takes pride in offering training options at their Part 141 flight training in Tulsa, Oklahoma, as well as Part 147 maintenance training in Tulsa, Oklahoma Broomfield, Colorado; Inglewood, California; and Riverside, California.

US Flight Training Group Epic Flight Academy Signs Agreement with Seminole State College of Florida

New Smyrna Beach, FL, USAEpic Flight Academy and Seminole State College of Florida (SSC) have signed an agreement that allows Epic-trained pilots to transfer their certifications as college credit toward a degree at SSC. Pilots can earn up to 27 credit hours toward an associate’s degree. Epic pilots can transfer:

  • Private Pilot (6 credit hours)
  • Instrument Rating (6 credit hours)
  • Commercial Single-Engine (6 credit hours)
  • Commercial Multi-Engine or Certified Flight Instructor – Instrument (4 credit hours)
  • Certified Flight Instructor (5 credit hours)

An SSC associate’s degree requires 60 credit hours. Therefore, Epic pilot training can fulfill nearly half of that requirement.

“This agreement with Epic Flight Academy offers a fantastic opportunity for individuals to not only earn college credit but also to complete a credential at Seminole State faster,” said Dr. Loretta Ovueraye, vice president of Academic Affairs at Seminole State. “With the credits earned from their licensure, students will be a step ahead and have a wide range of options to continue their education in preparation for a successful career in some of Florida’s high-demand, high-paying industries.”

“We are excited to announce this agreement with Seminole State College,” said Danny Perna, founder and CEO of Epic Flight Academy. “This provides a pathway for our flightstudents to turn their FAA-issued flying credentials into college credit toward a degree in more than 200 program options. Furthermore, Seminole State’s online courses offer flexibility to Epic pilots who have joined the workforce. A Seminole State College degree will enhance their career opportunities.”

Epic Flight Academy was founded in 1999 and currently has ten campuses. Epic offers FAA-certified flight and aircraft mechanic training. Seminole State College began offering classes in 1966 and has six sites. Seminole State offers associate and bachelor degrees.
