FTEJerez Seeking to Expand 2025 Instructor Team to Support Increasing UK Pilot Training Demand

Spain – FTEJerez, one of Europe’s most established flight training academies, has announced recruitment for additional UK CAA Flight Instructors in response to growing demand from UK cadets enrolled in its integrated training programmes.

  • The new positions will support the academy’s expanding UK CAA and EASA training operations, which have seen a steady rise in enrolments from British self-sponsored and airline-sponsored cadets.

  • Selected instructors will operate FTEJerez’s fleet of Piper PA-28 Archers and Warriors as well as Diamond DA42 aircraft, conducting ab initio and advanced multi-engine training from the academy’s campus in Jerez de la Frontera, Andalusia.

  • FTEJerez offers competitive employment packages, sponsorship for required ratings, and work permit assistance for non-EU residents.

  • The academy highlights its comprehensive training environment, combining more than 300 days of flyable weather annually with state-of-the-art facilities, a full residential campus, and airline-standard operational procedures.

  • With over 30 years of experience and more than 2,000 airline pilot graduates, FTEJerez continues to train cadets for major carriers including British Airways, Aer Lingus, easyJet, Iberia, Etihad Airways, Jazeera Airways, Oman Air, and Air Europa Express.

  • This follows FTEJerez earlier this year opening a new campus in the United Kingdom, as reported by AFM here. The Oxford base is intended to support BA cadets and self-sponsored trainees pursuing a UK or dual (EASA/UK) licence.

Over a five-year period, CEB will deploy a total of 240–300 Cadet Pilots to Airworks.

The 96 week program will see aspiring pilots get their Commercial Pilot License with Instrument Rating as well as a type rating on either Airbus A320 or ATR72-600.
