French Flight School Recognized as International Cirrus Training Center of the Year in 2024

Orbifly, a flight school based in Mandelieu-la-Napoule, Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur, France which announced in December 2023 its status as a newest Cirrus Training Center (CTC), nnounced during CX2025 in Orlando that it has been awarded the title of International Cirrus Training Center of the Year by Cirrus Aircraft. This recognition underscores Orbifly’s excellence in delivering high-quality pilot training programs.

In 2024 it additionally shared that it has expanded its fleet with the arrival of a new Cirrus G7 aircraft.

US Aviation Academy Expands in 2025 – Launching New A&P Campus in Minneapolis

Texas, United States – headquartered US Aviation Academy (USAA), one of the largest aviation and pilot training organizations in North America, has launched its fourth FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) training location in Minneapolis, just a few miles north of Minneapolis-Saint Paul at Anoka County-Blaine Airport. ​According to Oliver Wyman “Aviation executives ranked a potential mechanics’ shortage MRO’s No. 1 headache in Oliver Wyman’s annual survey earlier this year.” Industry wide, the Aviation Technical Education Council (ATEC), Boeing, and Oliver Wyman have all predicted massive labor shortages for A&P mechanics over the next decade.
