New Batch of AeroGuard Airline Cadets Begin Ground School in 2024

Phoenix, United States headquartered global flight training group AeroGuard Flight Training Center, which operates a number of flight training bases in the United States, has welcomed Batch 04 of Air India cadets, who have officially begun their ground school journey. The program, conducted in collaboration with Air India Training Academy and the ThePilot.in.

Global Pilot Training Group BAA Training Video Highlighting its Training of Luxair Cadets

BAA Training, which operates full flight simulator training centers and flight schools around the world, has shared a video highlighting its training of Luxair cadets. In April 2024 BAA Training announced that it had partnered with Luxair, the flag carrier of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, has indicated that it will have “additional flight bases are scheduled for launch in the second half of 2024, with further openings in 2025 and 2026 across other parts of Europe.”.

The company has recently placed an order for 48 Cessna 172 Skyhawk aircraft to expand its fleet. Under the signed agreement with Luxair the airline will send independently selected pilots to be trained at BAA Training’s flight training facilities in Lleida-Alguaire, Spain, through an ATPL Integrated program. Luxair will pre-finance this training on behalf of these students.

Candidates for the Chief Flight Instructor position must meet the following minimum requirements:

  • Hold a valid EASA Flight Instructor Certificate (FI)
  • Hold a valid Class 1 Medical Certificate
  • Minimum of 1500 hours of flight time as Pilot in Command (PIC)
  • Have at least 3 years of experience as a Flight Instructor
  • Excellent proficiency in English, both written and spoken
  • Valid EASA CPL (A) or ATPL (A) with Instrument Rating (IR)
  • Hold an Instrument Rating Instructor (IRI) and Class Rating Instructor (CRI)

As Chief Flight Instructor, you will oversee all flight training operations and manage a team of instructors to ensure compliance with EASA regulations. Responsibilities include conducting instructor training, planning flight schedules, developing training materials, monitoring student progress, and leading standardization workshops. The CFI will also work closely with the Training Manager to continually improve training programs and maintain the high standards of the academy.
