Philippines Based Alpha Aviation Group and Singapore-based University Launch New BS Degree Programs

Clark, Philippines – Aviation and pilot training group Alpha Aviation Group (AAG) and Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University (ERAU) Asia are expanding their partnership to offer globally recognized Bachelor of Science (BS) degree programs tailored for aviation professionals. The collaboration aims to elevate pilot training standards and provide new career pathways for aspiring leaders in the aviation industry. AAG and ERAU Asia will offer two Bachelor of Science programs.

Bachelor of Science in Pilot Operations
This program is designed for undergraduate students with an interest in aeronautical science who are already licensed pilots. It is intended to help students achieve roles in aviation leadership and compete for competitive pilot positions, while learning from faculty with industry experience.

Bachelor of Science in Aeronautics
This program is designed with relevant curriculum to ensure the highest standards of performance, quality, integrity, flight training, and flight ratings are maintained. This diploma builds on acquired experience, skills, and knowledge for those with flight experience already. Also provides an opportunity for students new to aviation to acquire aviation-specific knowledge through aviation-related coursework.

Global Flight Training Provider Skyborne Welcomes 19 New Cadets to IndiGo Cadet Pilot Program

Skyborne Airline Academy and IndiGo Airlines are welcoming 19 new cadets to the IndiGo Cadet Pilot Program during their Letter of Intent (LoI) ceremony.

The cadets will begin their flight training at Skyborne’s Vero Beach base in the United States, before completing their flight license conversion in India and type rating on the Airbus A320.

The 18-month IndiGo Cadet Pilot Program with Skyborne begins at Skyborne’s United States facility in Vero Beach, Florida, with cadets spending 12 months earning their US FAA 141 Commercial Pilots License with Instrument Rating, plus the required multi-engine time, before completing a DCGA Flight Licence Conversion in India. The application process has recently been revamped to include the latest suite of ADAPT pilot aptitude tests from Symbiotics.
