Global flight training group Airways Aviation, which operates pilot training academies across Europe, the Middle East, Asia, and India has shared that Airways Aviation Australia team attended the Pacific Airshow 2024 and announced that it will be expanding its training aircraft fleet as it signed a purchase agreement for a Diamond DA42 aircraft from Utility Air.

Global flight training group Airways Aviation, which operates pilot training academies across Europe, the Middle East, Asia, and India has officially opened its newest aviation academy in Casablanca, marking the launch of Airways Aviation Maroc. This facility is the 13th in the global network and the 6th new academy established in the last 18 months. The academy will begin offering its first Foundation courses in October, aimed at preparing aspiring aviation professionals for careers in the industry.
- Airways Aviation’s academy in France, Airways Aviation ESMA, is one of the three academies approved by Royal Air Maroc, which is expected to announce a significant aircraft order soon.
- The new academy in Morocco will not only train local students but also support the broader expansion of the aviation sector in the region.
“Our academy in France, Airways Aviation ESMA is still one of the 3 academies approved by Royal Air Maroc. The local airline is about to announce an order of 200 aircraft to expand and will need a large number of qualified professionals. By opening in Morocco we want to support this expansion, not only by training Moroccans in France but also locally, supporting the local economy and providing more training and education capability.” shared Alexandre Alves, COO & CCO at Airways Aviation.

Czech Republic Based Flight Training Group F Air Welcomes First Students from French Pilot Training Organisation
One of Europe’s largest flight training organisations when measured by aircraft fleet size, Czech Republic based F AIR, has shared that following its July partnership announcement with France based pilot training organisation WECAIR the first group of five students has now started training in the Czech Republic.
“Our partnership brings to market what we call a unique European experience which enables an exclusive opportunity for combined training in France and the Czech Republic,” said F AIR.
WECAIR offers a pilot training course which includes flight training in Florida – United States.
