Indian Flight Training Group, Chimes Aviation Academy, Celebrates 1st Anniversary at Neemuch Airbase

Chimes Aviation Academy (CAA), which operates two flight training bases in India, has celebrated in July 2024 the first anniversary of flight training at the Neemuch airbase (its second training base). In March this year CAA celebrated its 16th anniversary. During this time it has achieved:

  • 135,500+ hours of flying
  • 600+ Commercial Pilot License holders graduated
  • 1,550+ license conversions and recurrencies completed
  • Grown its fleet to over 20 aircraft across two bases

CAA expanded to Neemuch in 2023 and achieved a number of other milestones:

CAA is one of the largest private flight training organisations in India and offers a comprehensive curriculum from which cadets can choose multifaceted aviation training courses such as Commercial Pilots License (CPL), Cadet Pilot Program (CPP), Chimes Flying Program (CFP), Private Pilot License (PPL) as well as license endorsements.

United Kingdom headquartered L3Harris Airline Academy, which conducts flight training in the UK and in the United States, has shared that Wizz Air UK will now recruit students in training as early as the completion of their first set of ground school exams.

Wizz Air UK joins British Airways and easyJet in providing a career pathway to students before they finish training. That’s three of the top six UK airlines who provide students with conditional offers of employment. That’s without mentioning the graduates employed after completion of training, too, with other airlines on that list, such as Jet2 and TUI. This year (2024) alone, 106 graduates have entered employment via these career pathways.

Earlier in the month L3Harris Airline Academy announced a new collaboration with the UK based University of West London (UWL) to launch the Integrated ATPL with BSc(Hons) Air Transport Management program. The 2 year combined ATPL and degree course offers career pathways to major airlines and access to funding options for those that qualify.
