Utah’s FLT Academy Unveils New Campus and In-House Testing Approval

Spanish Fork, Utah, USA – FLT Academy has opened a new flight training campus at Spanish Fork Municipal Airport/Woodhouse Field (KSPK), expanding its training capacity beyond its inaugural location at Skypark Airport (KBTF) in Bountiful, Utah.

  • The new facility includes a modern fleet of training aircraft, advanced flight simulators, and expanded classroom space.

  • FLT Academy has also secured FAA Examining Authority, allowing the school to conduct in-house practical tests — a change expected to significantly shorten training timelines for students.

  • The academy maintains a strategic training partnership with SkyWest Airlines, providing graduates with a clear pathway to regional airline employment.

FLT Academy is Utah’s largest, highest rated Part 141 pilot school with examining authority, specializing in career-track training.

The new aircraft bring the operational fleet to 28 aircraft, reinforcing RMIT’s position as Australia’s largest university-operated aviation training organisation.
