Royal Aeronautical Society to Host Annual Flight Simulation Conference in London, UK in October 2024
The Royal Aeronautical Society’s annual Flight Simulation Conference will be held in London, United Kingdom on the 22nd and 23rd of October, 2024. Chris Hunter, Chair of the conference, has shared that this year’s program is filled with diverse sessions tailored to both professionals and enthusiasts in the aviation sector.
This year’s conference will explore several pivotal topics, including upcoming changes to the Certification Specifications for Flight Simulation Training Devices (CS-FSTD). Additionally, there will be in-depth discussions on the integration of Artificial Intelligence and data in pilot training, the utilization of virtual test environments, and the latest developments in Flight Simulation Training Devices (FSTD).
For those interested in contributing to the conference, there is still an opportunity to secure a presenter’s slot. Potential speakers are required to submit an abstract by the 31st of May, 2024.

Minister for Investment Khalid Al-Falih, who will open the investment showcase, added: “Saudi Arabia is the world’s new investment hub, targeting $3.3 trillion in investment by 2030. Aviation is a key investment sector and enabler of the Kingdom’s broader economic transformation. The aviation investment showcase will provide investors with unparalleled access to participate in the Kingdom’s transformation.”
Notable attendees include global executives from aviation giants like Boeing, Airbus, Commercial Aircraft Corporation of China, and Embraer. The forum will also provide insights into expansion plans for leading regional airlines and opportunities in cargo, logistics, advanced air mobility, and business aviation.
