Training Aircraft Manufacturer Expands Brand Ambassador Program to Include L3Harris Flight Academy
Piper Aircraft announced the expansion of their Brand Ambassador program to include the L3Harris Flight Academy in Sanford, Florida. The L3Harris Flight Academy is Piper Aircraft’s first nondegree-seeking ambassador partner school and their first flight school in the southeastern United States.
Piper Brand Ambassadors leverage their social media channels to promote their individual pilot training journey and act as advocates for the aviation industry. This unique program is designed to increase awareness of the flight training opportunities that exist within the L3Harris Flight Academy, as well as showcase the Piper training product line in use at a rigorous FAA part-141 flight school. The collaborative initiative is expected to create a community of like-minded aviation enthusiasts with a career interest in aviation.
Together, Piper Aircraft and the team at the L3Harris Flight Academy selected the two new ambassadors. The application process consisted of a virtual application followed by multiple interviews, which eventually pointed to two top candidates. Emily Royster, Instrument student, and Garrett Winkler, Commercial student, were both selected based on their passion for aviation, unique career stories, and flight training success. Emily and Garrett will join the growing program of eight ambassadors, which now includes 4 flight schools: the L3Harris Flight Academy, the University of North Dakota, Purdue University, and Minnesota State University at Mankato.
“Each of these new ambassadors has a unique story and career path that led them to the aviation industry, bringing a different perspective to those considering a career as a professional pilot. Their passion for aviation and Piper products is palpable, and we are excited to watch them grow through their flight training,” said Jackie Carlon, Senior Director of Marketing and Corporate Communications. “We have full confidence that these ambassadors will represent both brands well, and inspire future generations to embark on the many exciting career opportunities that exist within the aviation industry.”
