Indian Pilot Training Group, FSTC, is Hiring a Chief/Ground Instructor

Flight Simulation Technique Center (FSTC) is hiring a regular full-time Chief/Ground Instructor to be based at Bhiwani and Narnaul, Haryana, India. Please see an extract of the job post below.

“Key Responsibilities:

  • Execution of training curricula for Type rating training carried out by FTO taking into consideration latest operating techniques, experience, and instructions by the Regulatory Authority
  • Coordinate with the Training administrator and CI/CFI that Instructors for training are detailed and ground school accomplishes the task
  • Coordinate and plan the Ground Class schedule of the pilots / Flight Dispatchers and impart training in keeping with regulatory requirements
  • Coordinate and integrate new entrants (Instructors) so that required training is imparted, and they attain the desired standards
  • Organize and ensure that corrective training is conducted on as required basis
  • Monitor and ensure that Instructors conduct training as per approved syllabus
  • Ensure that additional training task as and when assigned is completed.
  • Conducting requisite Ground Classes (CPL/PPL/FI/IR/A/c Technical) or any a/c simulator acquired by FSTC
  • Prepare & Maintain Questions to the FSTC Question Bank

Requirement and Skills:

Applicant shall fulfill the following criteria:

  • A Ground Instructor having two years teaching experience with FTO/ Defence Aviation Training Organization/ Airports Authority of India Aviation training organization within last 10 years.
  • CGI in addition to teaching shall be responsible for the supervision of all ground instructors, standardization of all ground training, maintenance of training records and the programming of student ground examinations.

The approval of CGI shall be for a particular FTO, an approval will be issued in this regard.”

“Job Purpose

Reporting to The Head of Training, the Full-Time Synthetic Flight Instructor/Examiner (SFI/SFE) will be responsible for conducting pilot simulator and related ground training.

Responsibilities for SFI

  • Delivering Initial, Conversion and Recurrent related Ground Training for all pilot simulator courses.
  • Delivering Initial, Conversion and Recurrent flight training for pilots on Flight Simulation Training Devices (FSTDs).
  • Acting as Subject Matter Experts for the development and maintenance of Courseware to support all pilot training. This is significant to ensure we maintain relevant and compliant training material.
  • Evaluating and documenting pilot’s performance during training. Ensure accurate progress reports are filed on trainee progress.
  • In coordination with the Head of Training, ensure suitable remedial training is administered, and tailored to the individual’s needs.
  • Conduct and document the results of the required “SFTS” on the simulators and flight training devices as described in the relevant FSTC quality processes.”
