New Simulator Training Center Announced By Airline In India

New Indian Low-Cost Carrier Akasa Air has announced its plans to establish a simulator training center for its pilots and cabin crew in Gurgaon near Delhi later this year. The 14,000 sq. ft training center will host training infrastructure required for Akasa Air’s training requirements to operate its fleet of Boeing B737MAX aircraft, of which it has 72 on order. Akasa Air’s has 154 pilots and 115 cabin crew already signed up to join the airline and is planning for its first flight in July.

The announcement was made by one of the Co-Founders Vinay Dube in an interview with Indian News outlet ‘The Economic Times’.
