New FFS Training Center, Blue Angels Air, Taps ASTROM as Provider of Training Management System
India – Blue Angels Air, a new entrant in India’s full flight simulator training segment, has announced a strategic collaboration with Astrom Training Solutions to adopt its Training Management System (TMS) and Computer‑Based Training (CBT) platforms across classroom, simulator, and online training domains.

ASTROM will also supply its library of CBT content for both general subjects and aircraft type rating, supporting compliance with regulatory frameworks.

The partnership is timed with Blue Angels’ plan to launch a full flight simulator training center in Navi Mumbai in February 2026, as stated by Capt Leslie Manchanda, Head of Training & Executive Director.

The implementation further aligns with Blue Angels’ broader infrastructure expansion, including their forthcoming full flight simulator (FFS) training centre in Mumbai scheduled for early 2026.

Florida, USA – Skyborne, a global pilot training group which operates flight training bases in the United Kingdom and the United States, has welcomed over 13 new cadets in its flight training campus in Vero Beach, Florida. The cohort includes FAA Part 141 students as well as incoming IndiGo cadets.
For the IndiGo cadet following flight training at the academy the cadets will return to India for their flight license conversion and type rating. After successfully completing the program, the graduates will go on to fly with India’s leading airline as A320 First Officers.

Acron Aviation Announces New MRO Repair Center in India to Serve Asia-Pacific Operators
India – Acron Aviation announced the launch of its new Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) center in Bangalore, India, reinforcing its commitment to provide world-class aviation support across the Asia-Pacific region.
Strategically located in Bangalore, the new facility offers regional operators faster turnaround times and localized support, reducing dependence on overseas repair channels. The center launches with repair and test capability for the SRVIVR25, a critical onboard safety system, and will expand over the next three years to include recorders, TCAS, and advanced display systems.
The company is currently in the process of securing DGCA CAR 145 approval, with plans to pursue FAA, EASA, and CAAC certifications. These approvals will enable the Bangalore site to serve both regional and global customers with the same level of compliance and quality that Acron Aviation’s repair stations and licensed centres are known for.
Ronald Nye, VP and GM Aftermarket, Acron Aviation said: “Our Bangalore facility is fully integrated with Acron Aviation’s global repair network, ensuring consistent standards, processes, and IP protection across every location.” Nye continued, “this investment is a direct response to our customers’ need for lower logistics costs, faster repair cycles, and enhanced local support.”
Looking ahead, Acron Aviation envisions the Bangalore site becoming a regional hub for engineering, customer success, and field support. By aligning technical expertise with a customer-first approach, the facility is set to play a key role in strengthening airline and operator reliability throughout the Asia-Pacific region.
