Fujairah, United Arab Emirates – Fujairah Aviation Academy is seeking a CAMO Manager to join its team. The role focuses on ensuring the continued airworthiness, safety, and compliance of the academy’s aircraft fleet while adhering to GCAA regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Establish and maintain an independent quality system to monitor compliance with GCAA requirements
  • Develop and implement a quality audit program to regularly review maintenance procedures
  • Assess sub-contractors, external specialist services, and suppliers to ensure compliance with quality standards
  • Coordinate all communications with the GCAA and act as the primary contact for CAR 145 approval matters
  • Maintain staff records, ensure recurrent training, and control certification approvals for personnel
  • Prepare and update standard practices and procedures for use within the organization
  • Conduct external audits for subcontractors and address non-compliance issues

Candidate Requirements

  • Engineering degree or AME diploma
  • AME License or ICAO Type-II Basic License (preferred)
  • GCAA Post Holder approval (preferred)
  • Minimum 10 years of aviation experience in AMO/CAMO, including 5 years of relevant experience with at least 2 years in a managerial role within the aeronautical industry
