  • Liberty University operates one of the largest networks of Flight Training Affiliates (FTAs) in the U.S., enabling remote students to complete FAA flight training requirements without relocating to campus

  • The Director of Affiliate Operations will oversee all aspects of FTA management including compliance, customer service, strategic development, and travel-based site visits

  • The role reports directly to the School of Aeronautics leadership team and will involve both operational oversight and business development

  • The position is based in Lynchburg, Virginia, and includes regular travel to FTA sites across the U.S.

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum: Bachelor’s degree and leadership experience with a focus on customer service

  • Preferred: FAA Part 141 experience, FAA certificates (CFI, CFII, MEI, A&P, or IA), graduate degree in aviation or a related field, and prior 141 school management experience

• Drive innovation in training delivery, technology adoption, and curriculum development

Requirements:
• Current or former TRI/TRE on A320 or B737 (EASA and/or GCAA preferred)
• Minimum 5 years of training management experience in an EASA/GCAA-approved ATO
• Proven track record in managing training programs for Airlines and individual clients
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
• Familiarity with simulator-based training, modern CRM practices, and regulatory frameworks
