Dublin, Ireland – Airline Flight Academy, a pilot training organisation and full flight simulator training center, is seeking to hire a Flight Simulator Engineer to join its training center in Dublin (Woodford Business Park). This role involves maintaining Full Flight Simulators (FFS) and associated training equipment to support pilot training operations for airline partners, including Ryanair.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain simulators as per maintenance programs
  • Perform preventative and corrective maintenance to minimize downtime
  • Conduct scheduled fly-outs and checks to ensure compliance with regulatory standards
  • Resolve AOG defects and ensure maximum simulator availability
  • Address pilot and cabin crew-reported issues to maintain the highest quality standards

Candidate Requirements

Either of the following will be considered:

  • Degree in Mechatronic Engineering or similar technical field
  • Recognized Electrical or Aircraft Maintenance Apprenticeship
  • EASA Part 66 A, B1, or B2 License

Should also possess:

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, regulated environment
  • Willingness to work shifts and travel to other simulator facilities in Europe
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
