Middle Eastern Airline Emirates Scheduled to Take Delivery of 10 New Airbus A350 by March 2025

Dubai, United Arab Emirates based Emirates has announced it will have new Airbus A350 entering service from September 2024 with 10 new Airbus A350 expected to join the Emirates fleet by 31st of March 2025.

Emirates has 65 A350-900s on order, and all are carefully planned to support the airline’s future growth as well as Dubai’s D33 economic agenda set out by HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, to add 400 cities to Dubai’s foreign trade map over the next decade.

Sharjah, United Arab Emirates based aviation and pilot training group T3 Aviation Academy hosted an educational orientation titled ‘SkyBound Futures: Exploring Aviation with T3’ for students of the Aviation Department at the College of Engineering, Abu Dhabi University.

Earlier this year T3 Aviation Academy also expanded its training offering to include cabin crew training – introducing in March 2024 a Cabin Crew Foundation Course. The course has a duration of six (6) days through a hybrid modality (in-Class & Remotely/Online). The first batch is scheduled for May, while the second batch is in October 2024.

Flight Simulator Manufacturer Simnest Aviation Secures First Turkish Client – Receiving Order for A320 FNPT II MCC Simulator

Simnest Aviation, the Hungary headquartered flight simulator manufacturer, announced a landmark agreement with Turkish aircraft sales, charter, ACMI, leasing and pilot training organisation Sky Aviation for the procurement of a Simnest A320 FNPT II MCC simulator. Sky Aviation is Simnest Aviation’s first Turkish client and the agreement was announced at the 2024 International Flight Training Expo (IFTE) held in Istanbul. The delivery of the simulator scheduled for the fall of 2024.

Simnest Aviation will exhibit at APATS in Singapore in September and EATS in Portugal in November, where company representatives will present the B737 FNPT II MCC device. Simnest Aviation has installed 20 flight simulation training devices in 8 countries worldwide since its first Airbus A320-based type representative simulator. Simnest simulators have been used for almost a year to train future pilots for Wizz Air, one of the world’s largest low-cost airlines, and from 2025 for Brussels Airlines.

Flight Simulator Manufacturer ALSIM Receives Order for 2 Devices from Airline Owned Flight Training Group in May 2024

Turkish Airlines Flight Academy (TAFA), a flight training organisation and subsidiary of Turkish Airlines, signed a purchase agreement with France headquartered flight simulator manufacturer ALSIM for two Cessna 172 simulators during the IFTE 2024. This follow’s TAFA taking delivery of 10 brand new Cessna 172S training aircraft in 2023 to operate a fleet of 24 Cessna 172S aircraft.

In addition in 2023 Turkish Airlines Flight Academy (TAFA) signed an agreement with Turkish Aerospace Industries (TAI) for 20 single-engine training aircraft.

“As we prepare to carry our brand further within the scope of our vision for the next 10 years, it makes us all proud to see the high level of domestic and national opportunities and capabilities,” said Ahmet Bolat, Chairman at Turkish Airlines. “Our pilots to be trained with our aircraft to be produced by TAI will bring us closer to the fleet target of 800 aircraft, which we aim to have in 2033.

On the other hand, with this valuable agreement that will support TAFA to become an international pilot training center, the star of Turkish aviation will shine even brighter,” added Bolat.

Aircraft manufacturer Airbus signed an agreement with Hinfact, a startup founded in 2018 specializing in creating and developing software solutions to enhance flight safety through two main focuses i.e. pilot training and in-flight operations, to offer airlines a complete Competency Based Training Assessment / Evidence-Based Training (CBTA/EBT) solution.

With Airbus-specific data and configuration integrated into the Hinfact software, it ushers in a new era in data analytics for flight training,” said Vincent Rougès, Program Manager – Flight Operations & Training at Airbus.

Airbus is using Hinfact Training for its internal Instructor training and plans to extend the integration of this software to the entire CBTA training curriculum.
