Boeing Global Services Appoints Andre Berger as CBTA Deployment Lead

Global – Boeing Global Services has appointed André Berger as CBTA Deployment Lead / Instructor Evaluator within the Boeing Global Aviation Safety Program – Training Solutions team.

In this new role, Berger will contribute to advancing Competency-Based Training and Assessment (CBTA) implementation and oversee instructor evaluation to support Boeing’s global training initiatives. His work will strengthen Boeing’s commitment to enhancing aviation safety through innovative training solutions, standardized practices, and worldwide collaboration with airlines and training providers.

UAE-Based Low-Cost Carrier Air Arabia to Host 2025 Pilot Recruitment Events in South America

United Arab Emirates – Air Arabia will host pilot recruitment and assessment events in São Paulo, Brazil (8–13 September 2025) and Bogotá, Colombia (15–19 September 2025), as the airline seeks to expand its A320-rated Captain and First Officer workforce.

  • The recruitment drive follows Air Arabia’s continued fleet and network expansion:

    • The airline now operates 83 Airbus A320 and A321 aircraft across its hubs in the UAE, Morocco, Egypt, and Pakistan.

    • Deliveries of 120 new aircraft are scheduled to begin by the end of 2025.

    • In the first half of 2025 alone, Air Arabia launched 13 new routes.

  • Air Arabia is also part of a consortium with Nesma Group and KUN Holding, which won approval from Saudi Arabia’s GACA to establish a new low-cost airline at King Fahd International Airport, Dammam, expected to begin operations in 2026.

Requirements:

  • Captains – A320 type-rated, 4,000+ total hours, 800+ A320 hours, ICAO ATPL, Class 1 medical, current on Airbus FBW within 12 months, maximum age 60.

  • First Officers – A320 type-rated, 4,000+ total hours, 800+ A320 hours, ICAO ATPL or Frozen ATPL, Class 1 medical, current on Airbus FBW within 12 months, maximum age 45.
