Middle East Pilot Simulator Training Center Pier Seven Aviation Joins Women in Aviation – Middle East to Promote Gender Equality

Sharjah, United Arab Emirates – based full flight simulator training center Pier Seven Aviation has announced its participation in the Women in Aviation – Middle East initiative.

While in September L3Harris Commercial Aviation has announced a simulator update agreement with Pier Seven Aviation to upgrade their C2000X Std 1.3 A320 Full Flight Simulator to the latest Airbus standard. This significant update aims to extend the simulator’s life span by at least 15 years.

Key Responsibilities

  • Establish and maintain an independent quality system to monitor compliance with GCAA requirements
  • Develop and implement a quality audit program to regularly review maintenance procedures

  • Coordinate all communications with the GCAA and act as the primary contact for CAR 145 approval matters
  • Maintain staff records, ensure recurrent training, and control certification approvals for personnel

  • Conduct external audits for subcontractors and address non-compliance issues

Candidate Requirements

  • Engineering degree or AME diploma
  • AME License or ICAO Type-II Basic License (preferred)
  • GCAA Post Holder approval (preferred)
  • Minimum 10 years of aviation experience in AMO/CAMO, including 5 years of relevant experience with at least 2 years in a managerial role within the aeronautical industry
