Turkiye – full flight simulator training center group International Flight Training Center (IFTC) and full flight simulator training center management software solution provider Simorg (by Gözen Digital Aviation) have highlighted their collaboration in a “Customer Focus” feature to showcase how IFTC has fused human expertise and digital precision in its training business.

  • IFTC has achieved a 99 %+ utilisation rate of its full‑flight simulators and logged over 35,000 training hours annually, supported by Simorg’s operational analytics.

United Arab Emirates headquartered low-cost carrier group Air Arabia, had been selected as the lead operator in a consortium awarded the bid to launch Saudi Arabia’s newest low-cost airline, based at King Fahd International Airport in Dammam. The strategic development is part of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 plan to diversify its economy, enhance regional connectivity, and build a globally competitive aviation sector.

  • The new airline is a joint venture between Air Arabia, Egypt’s Nesma, and Jeddah-based Kun Investments Holding

  • The carrier is set to operate a fleet of 45 aircraft by 2030.

  • It will serve 24 domestic and 57 international destinations, with an annual target of 10 million passengers by 2030.

  • The new airline will create over 2,400 direct jobs, supporting economic growth in Saudi Arabia’s Eastern Region.

  • The venture marks Air Arabia’s fifth airline partnership, expanding its low-cost carrier model already operational in Morocco, Egypt, Armenia, and Pakistan.

This follows the manufacturer in September adding another Airbus A320 full flight simulator to its production line. In addition to device deliveries to Airbus A320 airline clients, HAVELSAN is proud to be supporting independent pilot training center operators including IFTC and Simaero with one EASA certified A320ceo/neo full flight simulator already in operations at IFTC and the Simaero device being delivered in 2025 to Simaero’s brand new training center in Delhi, India.

In 2024 HAVELSAN announced it would ramp up activities and support for airlines and simulator training centers including the ability to manufacturer up to eight full flight simulators per year as well as work with airlines to support them expanding their simulator training center operations through flexible solutions.

HAVELSAN is especially putting focus on providing industry leading after sales support, discussing with customers long-term cooperation projects and this has been well received by airlines and training centers with HAVELSAN currently having over six full flight simulators under construction.

Airbus Delivers 507 Aircraft in First 9 Months of 2025, Reaffirms Full-Year Guidance

Global – Airbus has reported its commercial aircraft performance for the first nine months of 2025, with 507 aircraft delivered and consolidated revenues of Euro 47.4 billion. Despite ongoing supply chain challenges, the company has reaffirmed its full-year guidance and outlined future ramp-up trajectories for its A220, A320, A330, and A350 programs.

  • A total of 507 commercial aircraft were delivered in 9m 2025, up from 497 in the same period of 2024. Deliveries included:

    • 62 A220s

    • 392 A320 Family

    • 20 A330s

    • 33 A350s

  • Gross commercial aircraft orders reached 610 units, with 514 net orders after cancellations.

  • Airbus’ commercial aircraft revenues rose 3% year-on-year to Euro 33.9 billion.

  • EBIT Adjusted from commercial aircraft activities increased to Euro 3.27 billion, supported by a favourable hedge rate and reduced R&D expenses, though partially offset by a less favourable delivery mix.

  • Airbus maintains its 2025 guidance:

    • ~820 commercial aircraft deliveries

    • EBIT Adjusted ~Euro 7.0 billion

    • Free cash flow before customer financing ~ Euro 4.5 billion

  • Production targets and ramp-up outlook:

    • A220: Rate 12 now expected in 2026, reflecting current market balance.

    • A320 Family: Ramp-up to rate 75 per month targeted for 2027.

    • A330: Stabilized at rate 4; rate 5 expected by 2029.

    • A350: Targeting rate 12 by 2028.

  • The order backlog for commercial aircraft stood at 8,665 units at the end of September 2025.
