Global Pilot Training Solution Provider L3Harris Flight Academy Welcomes 34 New Cadet Pilots in July 2024 at US Campus

Global pilot training group and full flight simulator manufacturer L3Harris Commercial Aviation which operates pilot training facilities across the world including the United Kingdom and United States shared that is Sanford, Florida, United States based L3Harris Flight Academy welcomed 34 cadet pilots in July 2024.

L3Harris Flight Academy has strong relationships with multiple U.S. airlines that offer career pathways to the major carriers including American, Delta and United.

“AIR WISCONSIN

  • Overview: Enrolling will provide you with the opportunity to apply to become an Air Wisconsin trainee. The program is a stepping stone for cadets to gather experience as pilots whilst flying for Air Wisconsin.
  • Key pathway: You will be able to build long-lasting relationships in the company and will have access to a pathway to ultimately fly for American Airlines.

ATLAS AIR

  • Overview: Students can benefit from the relationship with Atlas Air. Through their fleet of Boeing 747, 777, 767 and 737, Atlas carry everything and everyone, from the U.S. military to humanitarian aid, sports teams to music superstars, e-commerce to economies.
  • Key pathway: Atlas identify and interview students and present conditional offers of employment to those suitable to become an Atlas Air pilot upon successful completion of training.

AVELO

  • Overview: Students and Flight Instructors at L3Harris can now benefit from the relationship with Avelo Airlines. When you have achieved between 1,000 and 1,200 hours total flight time, the team will work with Avelo to recommend eligible Instructors for interview.
  • Key pathway: Successful completion of this pathway program takes you directly from student, to Instructor at L3Harris, to First Officer with Avelo.

Florida, United States-headquartered flight and aircraft maintenance training group Epic Flight Academy’s staff and members of the Jacksonville Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon-cutting ceremony during Epic’s grand opening of its newest flight school location at the Herlong Recreational Airport in Jacksonville, Florida.

This is Epic’s fifth flight school, with other locations in Ocala, Tallahassee, New Smyrna Beach, and Tucson.

Brock Rees, Director of Satellite Operations, oversaw the expansion and was on site for the celebration with other Epic staff members. Guests were invited to take discovery flights, tour the school, and experience a flight simulator.

Flight students have already enrolled and are training in Epic’s FAA-approved pilot program.

Epic Flight Academy is headquartered in New Smyrna Beach, Florida with locations across the U.S. The company was founded in 1999 and provides FAA-approved flight training and aircraft mechanic training.
