Vrgineers, a leader in advanced pilot training simulation solutions, is set to showcase its cutting-edge technologies at I/ITSEC 2024 from December 2–6, 2024. Training Aircraft Manufacturer Bye Aerospace Secures Client for Sustainable eFlyer Platforms
USA – Bye Aerospace, the first FAA applicant in sustainable Part 23 electric aviation, has attracted a notable client for both its training and regional air mobility all-electric platforms. Hopscotch Air has signed a letter of intent to purchase four innovative eFlyers, including one eFlyer 2 trainer and three eFlyer 4 aircraft.
Key highlights:
- Bye Aerospace’s eFlyer aircraft are designed to reduce operating costs by up to 80% compared to conventional aircraft like the Cessna 172, thanks to battery-electric propulsion systems.
- The eFlyer 4, capable of speeds up to 200 knots and a range of over 300 miles, offers a spacious cabin for a pilot and three passengers, making it ideal for regional mobility.
- Hopscotch Air plans to utilize the eFlyer 4 for routes such as White Plains to Nantucket, covering 191 miles in under an hour compared to over seven hours by car.
- The aircraft’s clean and quiet operation aligns with Hopscotch Air’s goals of reducing environmental impact and improving customer experience.

US Aviation Training Group International Aero Academy Strengthens Collaborations During November 2024 India Tour
Lakeland, Florida, United States headquartered aviation and pilot training group International Aero Academy, which was established in 2017 initially focusing on accelerated pilot training but has since expanded to include aircraft maintenance technician training, on-demand charter services, and an in-house FAA Part 145 repair station, has shared that it has expanded its presences in India with new office locations in six major cities:

- Pune
- Bengaluru
- Chennai
- Kolkata
During the academy team’s trip to India it connected with office staff and ground school cadets in Mumbai and Delhi.
IAA started with just 8 aircraft and now operates operates a fleet of 26 aircraft including Tecnam P2008, P2006T and Cessna 172 and 152 aircraft. Currently IAA has around 100 to 120 pilots in training at any one time.
