AeroGuard Flight Training Center Prepares for First Batch of Cadets from Qatar Aeronautical Academy

USA – global flight training group AeroGuard Flight Training Center (AeroGuard) is enrolling its first batch of cadets from the school’s strategic agreement with Qatar Aeronautical Academy to jointly professionally prepare future commercial airline pilots. Through this partnership, AeroGuard will support Qatar Aeronautical Academy’s mission to develop world class pilots, equipped with expertise and confidence to meet the demands of the aviation industry.

Its comprehensive training program for Qatar Aeronautical Academy cadets will prepare these students with the highest standards of safety and student support, bringing them from zero prior flight experience to airline ready.

Qatar Aeronautical Academy’s cadets will train at AeroGuard’s Phoenix, Arizona, USA campus, where they will benefit from over 360 flying days a year with consistent weather and extensive airspace complexity for a well-rounded, valuable flight experience. Arizona is the most popular flight training destination for aspiring pilots, airlines, and universities across the globe due to its expansive aviation infrastructure and ideal flying conditions year-round.

QAA’s cadets will earn their QCAA Commercial Pilot Licenses with Instrument and Multi Engine Ratings, further establishing AeroGuard’s Phoenix campus as a global training location for the aviation academy. These cadets will train alongside other future pilots from AeroGuard’s international partners Cathay Pacific, China Airlines, Air India, and Air New Zealand, as well as its U.S. programs with SkyWest Airlines, Arizona State University, and the United States Air Force.

This agreement is a part of AeroGuard’s ongoing efforts to partner with leading aviation organizations on a global scale, preparing the next generation of career-focused pilots for years to come, while supporting the industry’s growing demand for highly trained professionals.

USA – global flight training group AeroGuard Flight Training Center has received five new Piper Archer aircraft this month, increasing its fleet to more than 125 aircraft. These new training aircraft are part of the school’s 90-aircraft order with Piper Aircraft which will continue to deliver in the coming years. With this order and additional aircraft acquisition plans, AeroGuard expects to reach 130 planes in the fleet by 2026.

In late 2023, AeroGuard placed its 90-aircraft order with Piper, recognizing the significant growth and demand for the school’s ab initio flight training programs.

Fleet Expansion Supporting Demand and Program Growth

In recent weeks, AeroGuard has expanded its fleet in preparation for new programs and maintaining existing programs as it provides high quality flight training for aspiring commercial airline pilots and professional aviators from the U.S. and across the globe.

The school also recently welcomed four DA42 Diamond Aircraft to support its new program with the United States Air Force, providing initial flight training for their officers before they advance their military careers.

To support all programs, AeroGuard is now welcoming this third delivery from Piper Aircraft of five new Piper Archers to meet the demand for its high-quality flight training and to support the school’s continued student growth. AeroGuard has now taken delivery of 15 planes from this 90-aircraft order, with more acquisition ahead.
