Virtual Reality Pilot Training Solution Provider VRpilot Partners with US Airline to Enhance B737NG Training

VRpilot is proud to announce that Sun Country Airlines has chosen our state-of-the-art interactive procedure training solution for its B737NG operation. This agreement will enhance Sun Country Airline’s pilot training program efficiency, effectiveness and quality, and will solidify the benefits of virtual reality technologies for flight crew training.

VRflow, VRpilot’s procedure training platform, is supplemental to customers’ training curriculums, and will provide Sun Country pilots with a highly realistic and engaging training experience.

Florida, United States-headquartered flight and aircraft maintenance training group Epic Flight Academy has shared that it has enrolled a large number of students in August 2024 including:

  • 18 aircraft mechanic students at its new Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport campus (this being the second intake batch)
  • 24 flight training students at its New Smyrna headquartered flight training base

The strength of enrolments supports Epic’s expansion with Epic in July holding the grand opening of its newest flight school location at the Herlong Recreational Airport in Jacksonville, Florida. This is Epic’s fifth flight school, with other locations in Ocala, Tallahassee, New Smyrna Beach, and Tucson.

Epic Flight Academy is headquartered in New Smyrna Beach, Florida with locations across the U.S. The company was founded in 1999 and provides FAA-approved flight training and aircraft mechanic training.
