CAE Issues Statement About The Suspension Of Services And Training For Certain Airlines
CAE announced that it has suspended all services and training to Russian airlines, aircraft operators and healthcare distributors, in light of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.
CAE is saddened by the humanitarian crisis in Ukraine, and in support of its people, CAE has ceased to offer training services to pilots of Russian airlines as well as corporate and cargo operators in its training network. The company has also ceased to sell and service simulators for Russian airlines as well as healthcare distributors.
To support the humanitarian relief operations for Ukrainian refugees fleeing war, CAE has donated C$60,000 to the Red Cross. To date, CAE employees worldwide have donated more than C$65,000 to the Red Cross, for a total of more than C$125,000 donated by CAE and its employees. CAE will continue to match employee donations worldwide until March 31.
CAE employees in Hungary and Poland are also volunteering their time to support the Red Cross as well as individually supporting the needs of Ukrainian refugees.
CAE does not have any facilities in Russia. Prior to the suspension, CAE serviced simulators sold to Russian airlines with parts and update services and trained a number of Russian airlines in its global training centre network.

Russian Organization developing a VR simulator for training aircraft technicians
ALSIM Stronger in Turkey thanks to the Sale of an ALSIM AL250 Simulator to UTEK Flight School
ALSIM is thrilled to announce the sale of an AL250 to UTEK Flight School based in Bursa, Turkey.
The AL250 simulator addresses initial phase training needs (PPL, CPL, IR/ME) and is SEP/MEP re-configurable simulator certified as an EASA FNPT II. In addition, it offers both classic and glass cockpit instrumentation for each flight model at the simple flick of a switch. This device has been extremely well received since its creation and more than 65 of these have already been installed (4 devices installed in Turkey) and are in successful operation worldwide.
Mr. Orhan Erkan GÜNGÖR, Chairman of the Board of UTEK Flight School, explains his choice: “As UTEK Flight School, we planned to expand our training fleet and after an evaluation, we preferred ALSIM. ALSIM is known for guaranteed quality, and with the flexibility of the ALSIM AL250 simulator, we can provide high-quality training to our students”.

The Bluesky Awards for Aviation went to their rightful holders in Turkey’s one and only independent event to commemorate success in aviation. The survey results placed ATU Flight Academy at the top of the list, earning Atılım University a Bluesky award as the “Pilot Training University of the Year”, among the candidates applying for 27 individual categories.
The Bluesky Awards ceremony was on November 25, 2021, with awards that certify the success and excellence of their rightful holders in global aviation. Mr. Demir Ayhan, Director in Charge, received the award on behalf of ATU Flight Academy.
In BLUESKY AWARDS 2021, organized by TURKISH AEROSPACE, candidates are evaluated in two categories titled “Aviation Success Awards” and “Jury’s Special Awards”.
