Middle East Pilot Simulator Training Center Pier Seven Aviation Announces 2024 Pilot Training Agreement with Air India Express

Sharjah, United Arab Emirates-based aviation training group and full flight simulator training center Pier Seven Aviation announced a landmark partnership with Air India Express to deliver world-class training solutions.

During this month Pier Seven Aviation’s B737NG FFS received approval from the Indian Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA).

With the addition of the DGCA-approved B737NG simulator, Pier Seven Aviation now boasts a fleet of six dynamic simulators, including the A320 NEO, A320 CEO, B737 CL, B737 NG, and B747. All their simulators are fully certified and equipped to provide top-notch training, preparing you for a successful aviation career.

Fiji Airways Aviation Academy (FJAA), a pilot simulator training organization owned by Fiji Airways, announced the arrival of their brand new fixed training devices from CAE, an A330 500XR and a B737-MAX 8 500XR series.

“These state-of-the-art simulators will enhance our training capabilities, providing our trainees with the best tools and technology in the industry,” said FJAA.

Fiji Airways Aviation Academy, owned by Fiji’s flag carrier Fiji Airway’s is undergoing a multi-million-dollar expansion to develop a fully fledge training academy in Nadi. The expansion in the pipeline is set to include a new fourth full flight simulator bay, a three-story safety and service training building for the cabin crew, and even an apartment-style accommodation block complete with a restaurant, gym, and swimming pool.

With an expected completion date of 2026, the academy is set to become a regional leader in pilot and cabin crew training.

London, United Kingdom – CAE London Gatwick is expanding its team in response to a significant increase in Airbus training programs scheduled over the next 12 months. The center is seeking experienced Airbus instructors for the following contractor and permanent positions:

  • SFI/SFE
  • TRI/TRE
