French Pilot Simulator Training Center, ICARE, Attends the 55th Annual General Assembly of African Airlines Association

ICARE, a France based full flight simulator training center, represented by its CEO & Accountable Manager Philippe Goetz and Sales Manager Antoine Incorvaia, attended the 55th Annual General Assembly of African Airlines Association (AFRAA) in Kampala, Uganda held on November 19-21, 2023.

ICARE is an approved training provider for Uganda Airlines for the airline’s CRJ900 fleet.

BAA Training France Announces New Full Flight Simulator Now Ready for Operations

BAA Training France, a new Paris based full flight simulator training center, announced that its new A320neo full flight simulator (FFS) is now ready for training. This is the fourth full flight simulator at the brand-new training center.

With this addition, BAA Training expands its A320neo dry/wet lease training services, available not just in Lithuania (2 FFSs), Barcelona (2 FFSs), and Vietnam (2 FFSs), but also in France from now on.

Having become operational, the A320neo FFS joins the previously installed and certified two B737 NGs and one B747-400 FFS at BAA Training France earlier this year.

Additionally, the center will soon achieve the A320 FTD Level 1 certification.

Full Flight Simulator Manufacturer HAVELSAN Announces Factory Acceptance Test for New A320 Simulator to Take Place in November 2023

Ankara, Türkiye- Headquartered simulator manufacturer HAVELSAN announced its latest Airbus A320 full flight simulator will undergo and complete factory acceptance test this month. Following the tests, the company will initiate the certification process for the device, making the simulator ready for training at the beginning of 2024.

HAVELSAN previously signed a contract with Turkish Airlines for the procurement of a total of 11 A320 CEO NEOs and Boeing 737 Max full flight simulators (FFS) and FTD’s. Following the EASA certification of two Boeing B737MAX full flight simulators, HAVELSAN and Turkish Airlines announced the opening of the new Turkish Airline Training Center within HAVELSAN’s premises. With the latest development of the company aiming to complete the FAT’s, HAVELSAN is scaling up its solutions to support airline customers for their pilot training requirements.

“We believe that the Factory Acceptance Tests for our A320 FFS will be conducted successfully and will pass the tests, enabling us to complete our final preparations for the delivery.” stated Dr. Mehmet Akif Nacar, CEO of HAVELSAN.
