Global Simulator Training Center Group, SIMAERO, is Looking for a Financial Analyst as it Aims to Grow Global Footprint

France headquartered operator of full flight simulator training centers SIMAERO is looking for a Financial Analyst who will participate in financing the growth of SIMAERO’s resolutely international and expanding Group. See an extract of the job post below;

“SIMAERO is currently at a turning point in its development. Keeping high-quality standards and agility, SIMAERO’s ambition is to position itself as a global leader in the pilot training industry. SIMAERO aims to develop expertise in India, Southeast Asia, and in the Middle East to support the booming local aviation market.

By joining SIMAERO, you will be participating in the opening of SIMAERO’s new training centres, alongside those in France, South Africa, and China, already offering access to a network of 30 full-flight simulators to its 250+ global customers.

As a Financial Analyst, you will be assigned to the Group Management Controller, who in turn reports to the Chief financial Officer in charge of all financing, you will have the opportunity to work on both internal and external corporate finance / accounting analysis.

An important part of the Finance Controller’s role is to collect, merger, analyze and then prepare the financial reporting which will be presented to the Group Directors and Board members.

You will be responsible for the following tasks, among others:

Financial:

  • You will coordinate the Monthly Reporting (P&L & BS).
  • You will participate in the short to long term weekly Cash flow forecasts.
  • Under the responsibility of your management, you will be working upon capital analysis.
  • Under the responsibility of the Group Management Controller, you will perform booking’s analysis & forecast.
  • You will be in charge of the budget & reforecast.
  • You will closely monitor other management control analysis (assets, staff costs…).
  • You will participate in the Business Plan of SIMAERO.

Accounting:

  • You will support the Group’s consolidation (done with an external accounting firm’s help).
  • You will elaborate month-end revenue recognition entries (percentage-of-completion method).
  • Under the responsibility of the Group Management Controller, you will structure the Annual legal audit process.

M&A and Strategy:

The Finance department is involved in all strategic projects and the candidate might be asked to assist in:

  • Simulators acquisitions projects.
  • New subsidiaries / centre openings.
  • Group Refinancing of new LBO.
  • Acquisition Due Diligences on corporates.
  • And more!

Preference:

You must graduated from a top-tier business/engineering school (e.g.: HEC, ESSEC, ESCP, EM Lyon, CentraleSupélec) and you are currently a financial analyst or an auditor of 2 or 3 years of experience in auditing firms / transaction services or restructuring. You possess an entrepreneurial mindset.

  • CDI (Permanent contract) based in Roissy with flexible desk policy (2/3 days home office).

France headquartered simulator manufacturer ALSIM is delighted to announce that Azerbaijan Airlines (AZAL), situated at Heydar Aliyev International Airport in Baku, has selected an ALSIM AL172 for its training needs.

The National Aviation Academy of the Republic of Azerbaijan has existed for more than 30 years, since 1992. It is one of the leading training centers in the CIS which prepares qualified aviation professionals of higher, advanced, and specialized levels.
