Danish Pilot Simulator Training Center Selects FlightLogger as Their Flight Training Software Solution

Denmark – FlightLogger announced that TrainingAir has recently made the switch to its software solution, becoming the 171st to adopt the system.

Founded in 2014 by Arne Lund Pedersen and Morten Thvilum, TrainingAir was created with the aim of providing exceptional training to both individuals and airlines in Europe and Asia. Since obtaining their ATO approval in December 2014, they have successfully achieved this vision, delivering training for the Airbus A320/A330/A340 and Boeing 737. At TrainingAir, quality and flexibility are at the heart of their training approach.

They believe in selecting only the best instructors who are current airline pilots, to provide their clients with relevant training. TrainingAir offers personalised and flexible training courses tailored to the specific requirements of their clients, ensuring comprehensive and high-quality services at competitive rates.

One of TrainingAir’s notable achievements is being the first Danish ATO to propose a fully integrated MCC-A320 Type Rating Course. From Summer 2023, they will conduct all their type rating courses using the Competency Based Training & Assessment (CBTA) concept, demonstrating their commitment to being at the forefront of aviation training.

TrainingAir said: Our decentralised training strategy, flexible as it is for the client, created a paperwork nightmare. The complete digitalisation of manuals, training records and internal ATO processes was essential in order to maintain our high standards. The implementation of CBTA reenforced this need: paper training records could never deliver the analytic data on which competency based training and assessment relies.

We needed a flexible, robust training management system that would cope with our customised course footprints, track expiries and make it easy for ATO staff to follow training taking place at the other end of the world in real time. FlightLogger delivers all this all this effectively and competitively.

Overall, we are extremely satisfied with the benefits that FlightLogger has brought to our flight training management system. It has helped us overcome the challenges we were facing and has become an essential tool in our daily operations.”

As a result, customers of LAT can now enjoy the Heading365 FMS Trainer. Beyond the freeplay mode, their apps offer numerous tools that are valuable for pilot training. From a Guided Tour, where the candidate is guided through the complete FMS setup, to the Static Analyzer, which shows errors and solutions, autonomous learning is possible.
