CAE Celebrates the Graduation of More than 100 Type Rated Pilots in the Philippines in 2024
Clark, Philippines based full flight simulator training center CAE Philippines celebrated the graduation of 119 pilots, including 76 Airbus A320 and 43 ATR 72-600 graduates. The event highlighted the dedication and hard work of both the graduates and the academy’s staff.

CAE Philippines has shared that it has to date trained more than 700 type rated pilots on the A320 & ATR 72-600.
About CAE Philippines
CAE Philippines is a joint venture between Cebu Pacific Air and CAE. Initially inaugurated as the Philippine Academy for Aviation Training (PAAT), the joint venture was setup with a goal is to bring the best-in-class standards for pilot training in the region, deploying innovative virtual-to-live training solutions and establish itself as a leader for training and development of aviation professionals in the Philippines.
CAE Philippines is located in Clark, Philippines and offers Airbus A320, A320 NEO and ATR 72-600 pilot training to Cebu Pacific Air as well as other operators in the region. The Training Center has four CAE-built Level D simulators – three Airbus A320 full-flight simulators (FFS) and one ATR 72-600 FFS.

Fiji Airways Aviation Academy, an airline owned aviation academy and full flight simulator training center that announced earlier the month the arrival of two new CAE manufactured full flight simulators – an Airbus A350 and ATR72-600 full flight simulator, has shared that the devices are currently being prepared including having the airlines branding applied.
The academy is now installing the new devices in their brand-new bay’s. These state-of-the-art simulators will join the existing Boeing 737 Max and Airbus 330 FFS, further enhancing the academy’s training capabilities and commitment to excellence in aviation education.
Fiji Airways Aviation Academy, owned by Fiji’s flag carrier Fiji Airway’s is undergoing a multi-million-dollar expansion to develop a fully fledge training academy in Nadi. The expansion in the pipeline is set to include a new fourth full flight simulator bay, a three-story safety and service training building for the cabin crew, and even an apartment-style accommodation block complete with a restaurant, gym, and swimming pool.
With an expected completion date of 2026, the academy is set to become a regional leader in pilot and cabin crew training.
