Global – Acron Aviation has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with China Southern Sci-Tech during the International Paris Air Show, marking the beginning of a strategic partnership aimed at developing and deploying full flight simulators in China.

The strategic collaboration marks a significant step toward enhancing simulator training capabilities in the region and further deepening technological collaboration between the two organizations.

Berg, Bavaria, Germany – Following the announcement of their landmark agreement at the VERTICON Show in Dallas this March 2025, European Heli Center (EHC) and Reiser Simulation and Training GmbH (REISER) have officially kicked off their joint project with a first project meeting held at REISER’s headquarters in Berg, Bavaria.

This meeting marks the operational launch of a project that will bring a world-class H135/H145 Level D full-flight simulator to EHC’s upcoming training center at Lelystad Airport, near Amsterdam. The device will support multi-mission pilot and crew training for civilian, commercial, EMS, military, and offshore operations.

Set in the picturesque surroundings of the Sternberger See, the teams came together for productive discussions and shared planning. More than a symbolic gathering, this marked the first formal project milestone, outlining key technical steps, timelines, and collaboration structures to successfully bring the simulator into operation.

A Shared Vision for Advanced Helicopter Training The Level D full-flight simulator, featuring REISER’s proven roll-on/roll-off platform, will allow training on both H135 and H145 aircraft models within one device. This flexibility ensures maximum training efficiency and a future-ready solution for EHC’s expanding operations.

Japan –Acron Aviation, a leading global provider of pilot training systems, has announced a major Full Flight Simulator (FFS) agreement with All Nippon Airways Co., Ltd. (ANA), marking the company’s first FFS contract since its rebrand from L3Harris to Acron Aviation on March 31, 2025.

FFS Manufacturer Deploys New Widebody Device to South East Asia JV in 2025

Clark, Philippines – Cebu Pacific, the Philippines’ largest airline, and CAE have announced the expansion of their joint venture pilot training centre with the planned deployment of an Airbus A330neo full-flight simulator (FFS) in Clark, Philippines.

  • The A330neo simulator, scheduled to be ready-for-training by December 2026, will be the first of its kind in the country and will enhance the existing training capacity for Cebu Pacific’s expanding widebody operations.

  • The simulator will join existing A320 and ATR 72-600 FFS devices already operational at the Clark facility, which has served as a joint training hub for Cebu Pacific and CAE since 2011.

  • The addition is supported by a long-term training services agreement, reinforcing the partners’ shared commitment to scalable, high-quality training solutions in the Asia-Pacific region.

  • Cebu Pacific currently operates 11 A330neo aircraft, the largest A330neo fleet in Asia, with more deliveries expected as the airline continues its widebody growth strategy.
