Tanguy Tostivint is the General Manager at Simaero France, bringing nearly 20 years of experience in the aviation and simulation industries. With a strong background in management and operations, Tanguy plays a pivotal role in driving the company’s strategic direction and growth, maintaining a continuous commitment to quality, innovation, and customer satisfaction.

Mert: Simaero started as a regional training center in Dinard (Brittany, France) and is now one of the major training solution providers worldwide. What was the corporate mission behind this growth?

Tanguy: Our mission is to deliver the when and where and how of every detail of international pilot training. In the dynamic and fast-paced aviation industry, we recognize that airlines of all sizes, from anywhere in the world, need the agility to stay competitive. They must integrate ongoing regulatory pilot training seamlessly and cost-effectively into their demanding schedules. At Simaero, we are committed to being a straightforward and continual presence in the complex training requirements of global airlines and pilots.

Mert: During the adoption of Simorg, Simaero experienced rapid growth, expanding to new centers across fresh continents with a vision to triple the number of simulators. How has Simorg supported you throughout this transformative journey?

Tanguy: Our rapid growth required a solution that could not only scale with us but also improve efficiency through digitization. As we expanded to new centers across continents and worked to triple the number of simulators, we needed a system that could adapt to diverse customer needs, align with varying cultures and regulations, and enhance team collaboration across locations.

Mert: Simorg has a critical software status for all Simaero centers. What is the reason behind this decision? How does it help?

Tanguy: Simorg provides a unified platform that streamlined our operations, offering real-time management reports, improving teamwork efficiency and consistenct in our work processes across the globe. Mert: Being an important international player in our industry, how do you see the future? What’s digital’s role in this?
