South Africa Based Flight School 43 Air School Signs 5 Year Preferred Supplier of Aircrew Agreement with Asian Airline

Internationally well known flight training organisation 43 Air School has shared that it has signed a 5-year preferred supplier of aircrew agreement with the national carrier of Vietnam – Vietnam Airlines.

This follows 43 Air School’s announcement that in March it had completed a facility audit by the Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam to continue to be certified to train Vietnamese pilots.

Four (4) cadets belonging to batches 49 & 50 of Alpha Aviation Group’s (AAG) Airline Pilot Program (APP) and five (5) CPL holders who graduated from other pilot schools were inducted to First Officer Transition (FOT) Program on 27 June 2023. This marked the last phase of their intensive training before they officially become first officers.

The FOT Program is designed to develop the students’ pilot competencies following ICAO’s Competency Based Training and Assessment (CBTA) principles and utilizing a pool of highly-experienced and competent instructors, and the most comprehensive suite of state-of-the-art training devices and tools.
