AXIS Flight Simulation, a leading provider of flight training solutions, has been selected by the National Institute for Aerospace Research (INCAS) to supply one Beechcraft King Air C90GTx Level-D full flight simulator (FFS), due to be delivered to its research facility in Strejnicu, Romania.
For this programme, AXIS Flight Simulation performed a full flight test campaign which captured comprehensive aircraft flight data to be used for model development.
Designed for special purpose and turboprop aircraft, the Beechcraft King Air C90GTx FFS comes equipped with a state-of-the-art XT6 visual system from RSi to ensure a highly immersive experience. It also features a VanHalteren motion system, further enhancing the realism of flight simulation.
INCAS’ work contributes to EU policymaking under the FlightPath 2050 vision and Horizon Europe programme. AXIS Flight Simulation will support INCAS to research performance indicators such as pilot response and the real time of handling of aircraft aerodynamics, with the goal of optimising procedures and lowering operating costs.

Indianapolis, United States based Republic Airways, a major US regional carrier, has selected VRpilot’s virtual reality pilot training solution, VRflow, for its Embraer E170/E175 operation. Republic Airways has already begun initial implementation work of VRpilot’s technology. Concurrently, Leadership in Flight Training (LIFT) Academy, founded by Republic Airways Holdings, will deploy VRflow for their fleet of Diamond DA40 and DA42 aircraft for a standardized procedure training suite across the entire operation.

Netherlands headquartered flight simulator manufacturer Wright Brothers Flight Technology (WBFT) announced that it will be attending the AERO Friedrichshafen in Friedrichshafen, Germany, on April 17-20, 2024.
WBFT specializes in the design and manufacturing of high-quality fixed base flight simulators. They take pride in their in-house development capabilities, which enable them to create bespoke flight simulators for both propeller engine and jet engine aircraft up to FTD2 (EASA) and Level 5 (FAA and CAAC) for Flight Training Devices (FTDs).

American Airlines celebrates a significant milestone with the inauguration of their new Flame Aviation V7000 Brigade fire trainer! This state-of-the-art trainer marks a leap forward in training for its crew, ensuring the highest standards of safety and preparedness.
Flame Aviation is a global leader in the design and manufacturing of cabin fire and smoke trainers for airlines and training centers.
This follows Flame Aviation announcind in October 2023 that it is set to install a V9000 Commander fire trainer at the Aegean-CAE Training Center in Athens, Greece following successful Factory Acceptance. And then in November 2023 that Malaysia’s flag carrier Malaysian Airlines took a Flame Aviation manufactured V7000 Brigade VIEW next-generation fire trainer into service.
