ALSIM’s New AL2006 Simulator Deployed to Professional Aviation Academy in Italy

Italy – At the European Airline  Training Symposium (EATS) 2025 in Portugal, ALSIM celebrates a new milestone in flight training: Professional Aviation Academy in Italy is among the first to  integrate the brand-new AL2006 simulator, designed to replicate the Tecnam®  P2006T NG. This acquisition reinforces the academy’s commitment to  delivering high-quality, realistic multi-engine pilot training.

The AL2006 faithfully reproduces the Tecnam P2006T NG, a highly regarded, cost-efficient multi-engine trainer. Designed to FTD Level 5 and EASA FNPT II standards, offering a full-size flight deck replica, a semi-enclosed instructor station, active control loading, and a specific flight model based on aircraft flight characteristics.

For maximum realism, the AL2006 is equipped with an immersive visual system featuring three high-definition laser projectors, enhanced by a vibration cueing system, and delivering an impressive 210° x 50° field of view. It also includes the original Garmin G1000 NXi and GFC 700 autopilot, ensuring an authentic experience that closely replicates the real aircraft’s cockpit environment — a world first for a P2006T NG simulator.

“Being an existing ALSIM customer and well aware of the quality of their products and after-sales support, I have strongly encouraged the investment in the AL2006 simulator. The Tecnam P2006T has already proven to be one of the best-selling twin-engine aircraft on the market, and I believe the new Tecnam P2006T NG is the platform the industry has been waiting for.

Having a dedicated simulator developed by a well-established company like ALSIM is a key element in providing high-quality, cost-effective training. It represents a critical step forward in maintaining excellence and competitiveness in today’s flight training environment,” states Vito Preti, Accountable Manager and Director of Professional Aviation Academy

Leonardo Rodrigues, Sales Manager at ALSIM, adds: “Many flight schools have the P2006 as their twin-engine of choice. A type-specific simulator for this aircraft is an important tool to complement their offering, providing seamless transition between simulator and airplane training.
