Smartflyer Integrates Neo3D 3D Printing into Hybrid Aircraft Program

Switzerland — Smartflyer, the Swiss developer of the hybrid‑electric SF‑1 general aviation aircraft, has announced a new partnership with Neo3D AG, unveiling a collaboration to integrate advanced 3D‑printed components that enhance efficiency and reduce weight.

  • Neo3D will supply lightweight, precisely engineered parts for Smartflyer’s SF‑1 hybrid aircraft, aimed at boosting performance and efficiency

  • Smartflyer intends to leverage these additive manufacturing advances to refine its aircraft architecture, potentially accelerating development and reducing material waste

  • The partnership aligns with Smartflyer’s ongoing efforts to finalize the SF‑1 prototype, ahead of its planned first flight in 2026 and eventual certification roadmap toward 2030

Acron Aviation Supplies 2 Airbus A320neo Full Flight Simulators for Airbus – Air India Training Center

India — Acron Aviation is proud to announce its role in supporting the newly inaugurated training center formed through the landmark joint venture between Air India and Airbus. As a trusted provider of advanced flight simulation devices, Acron Aviation supplied two Airbus A320neo Full Flight Simulators (FFS) to the state-of-the-art Airbus India Training Center, which was inaugurated on 30 September in Gurugram, Haryana, India.

Acron Aviation’s UK based FFS business designed, manufactured and shipped the two high-fidelity devices to India, where the expert team managed their installation and certification, ensuring compliance with the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) standards. Both simulators have been approved for entry into service and are scheduled to be fully operational in Q4 2025. Acron Aviation will also supply two additional A320 FFS to this facility by 2026.
