Avsoft International is pleased to announce a new partnership with Pacific Direct, an aviation company based out of Papua New Guinea. This collaboration marks a significant milestone for both organizations, emphasizing Avsoft’s commitment to providing comprehensive and accessible training solutions worldwide.

Under this partnership, Pacific Direct will utilize Avsoft’s Learning Management System (LMS), avLMS, to deliver Dash 8 Q100 courses to their pilots and crew. In addition to the Dash 8 Q100 courses, Pacific Direct will have access to Avsoft’s entire general subject library, enhancing their training programs with a wide range of aviation subjects.

Pacific Direct’s training department will utilize avLMS for it’s renowned robust tracking and reporting capabilities. This platform allows aviation companies like Pacific Direct to streamline their training processes, reduce administrative burdens, and maintain compliance with industry standards.

TXT Acquires Majority Stake in Flight Simulation Software Provider ProSim Training Solutions

TXT e-solutions S.p.A. (“TXT”), a company listed on the STAR Segment of the Electronic Stock Market organized and managed by Borsa Italiana S.p.A., announces that on July 8, 2024, it exercised the option to purchase an additional 20% of the capital of ProSim Train ing Solutions (ProSim-TS), as a result of which TXT holds a majority stake in ProSim-TS amounting to 60% of its capital. TXT will consolidate the results of ProSim-TS starting from July 1, 2024.

Boeing announced Penny Burtt as the new president of the company’s Southeast Asia business, effective July 3, 2024

Burtt will be based in Singapore and oversee the company’s strategy and operations as Boeing expands its regional presence. She will also become director and chair of Boeing Singapore Pte. Ltd. and president director of PT. Boeing Indonesia.
