Flight School Management Software Solution Provider Flight Schedule Pro Announces 2024 Appointment for Chief People Officer

Flight Schedule Pro, the North American headquartered provider of cloud-based business management software for flight schools, universities, flying clubs, and career pilot training centers around the globe, announced it has Becky Kowall as Chief People Officer.

Kowall brings over 23 years of extensive human resources leadership to Flight Schedule Pro, having previously worked with high growth technology companies, professional services firms, and organizations undergoing rapid growth and transformation. In her new role, Kowall will lead Flight Schedule Pro’s global People Operations strategy, with a focus on attracting top talent, building high-performing teams, and creating a people-centric culture to support the company’s continued expansion and success.

She has deep expertise in optimizing teams, career pathing, and positioning companies as an employer of choice. Kowall has also navigated organizations through major milestones like M&A transactions, IPO readiness, and successful acquisitions.

Flight Simulator Manufacturer Simnest Aviation Secures First Turkish Client – Receiving Order for A320 FNPT II MCC Simulator

Simnest Aviation, the Hungary headquartered flight simulator manufacturer, announced a landmark agreement with Turkish aircraft sales, charter, ACMI, leasing and pilot training organisation Sky Aviation for the procurement of a Simnest A320 FNPT II MCC simulator. Sky Aviation is Simnest Aviation’s first Turkish client and the agreement was announced at the 2024 International Flight Training Expo (IFTE) held in Istanbul. The delivery of the simulator scheduled for the fall of 2024.

Simnest Aviation will exhibit at APATS in Singapore in September and EATS in Portugal in November, where company representatives will present the B737 FNPT II MCC device. Simnest Aviation has installed 20 flight simulation training devices in 8 countries worldwide since its first Airbus A320-based type representative simulator. Simnest simulators have been used for almost a year to train future pilots for Wizz Air, one of the world’s largest low-cost airlines, and from 2025 for Brussels Airlines.

Turkish Airlines Flight Academy (TAFA), a flight training organisation and subsidiary of Turkish Airlines, signed a purchase agreement with France headquartered flight simulator manufacturer ALSIM for two Cessna 172 simulators during the IFTE 2024. In addition in 2023 Turkish Airlines Flight Academy (TAFA) signed an agreement with Turkish Aerospace Industries (TAI) for 20 single-engine training aircraft.

On the other hand, with this valuable agreement that will support TAFA to become an international pilot training center, the star of Turkish aviation will shine even brighter,” added Bolat.

Texas, United States based Sim-U-Tech Signs Purchase Agreement for Avion A320 Full Flight Simulator

The United States, Texas-based training organisation Sim-U-Tech is acquiring an Airbus A320 Level D Full Flight Simulator from Avion. The signing ceremony took place this week at the World Aviation Training Summit (WATS) 2024 in Orlando.

The purchase marks the first Avion flight simulator for the US market. Avion’s Group CEO Manoj Pandey is proud to have landed the agreement: “This significant milestone marks a pivotal moment in Avion’s journey towards global expansion, and we are thrilled to announce our entry into the US market with this milestone contract. This underscores the dedication and expertise of our team, as well as the exceptional quality of our simulators. The A320 Full Flight Simulator will be installed with CEO and NEO engine settings and the latest Airbus Standard 2.1. I was impressed by the technology and performance of the training device. The integration of technology, being able to get a lower carbon footprint, plus low operating costs made me choose Avion.”
