AeroGuard Flight Training Center Exceeds 100 Planes in Its Rapidly Expanding Aircraft Fleet

AeroGuard Flight Training Center, a leader in the flight training industry, has recently exceeded 100 planes within its growing aircraft fleet, passing a significant milestone. AeroGuard has seen rapid growth this past year not only in its fleet, but also in student enrollments, instructor hiring, campus expansion, and notable airline partnerships.

  • Throughout 2023, AeroGuard added 25 planes to its fleet in addition to placing a 90 aircraft order with Piper Aircraft.
  • Its aircraft acquisition continued into 2024 as a further 10+ planes have been added, supporting its business growth and expansion now exceeding 100 aircraft in its fleet.
  • As its 90 aircraft order begins deliveries this year and the school moves forward with further aircraft acquisition, AeroGuard plans to more than double its fleet in size and establish the capacity to train up to 2,000 students across its three U.S. campuses.

In addition to its International airline partnerships, AeroGuard partners with SkyWest Airlines for its Pilot Pathway Program as well as Arizona State University as part of its B.S. Aeronautical Management Technology program. Through these programs, AeroGuard trains domestic U.S. students for their future careers, establishing a pipeline of highly qualified instructors with the opportunity to build their FAA-required 1,500 hours, and providing a direct path to the airlines.

France based Airbus owned flight training organization Airbus Flight Academy Europe has provide an overview of its training fleet of 15 aircraft. Below is an overview of the aircraft utilized in the academy’s training programs:

  • Elixir Aircraft Elixir: Recently added to the fleet, this aircraft is 50% more fuel-efficient than most currently certified machines.   • H3 Grob Aircraft SE Grob G 120: These aerobatic-certified two-seaters are utilized for Upset Prevention Recovery Training (UPRT) during the VFR phase. This training allows cadets to experience and manage specific and unusual flying situations.

Additionally, the academy features two ALSIM AL42 FNPTII simulators, which are integral to the cadet training process.

  • establishment of a flight school in 2019 under the high patronage of World Wide ATO of Airbus Commercial
  • expanded the academy’s presence to 5 air bases and naval air bases, with the school for airline and military pilots now located in Angoulême-Champniers.
  • Academy’s fleet grew with the addition of 15 new aircraft, set to increase to 18 soon, including the latest environmentally friendly Elixir. This modern configuration aims to reduce the environmental footprint of pilot training courses while maintaining high educational standards.

Elixir Aircraft, a fast-growing training aircraft manufacturer headquartered in La Rochelle, France, has delivered aircraft to Aéro-club du Beaujolais, Aéro-club des Navigants and Aéro-club Andernos-les-Bains in France during the month of June 2024. “Many thanks to our customers for their trust, and happy flying! This year marks Elixir Aircraft’s third consecutive appearance at EAA AirVenture, and the company is returning with a larger booth, an expanded team, and renewed enthusiasm following the recent announcement that by the end of 2024, their U.S. site will be operational at Sarasota Bradenton Airport (SRQ). A 12,500 sq ft hangar will be dedicated to the initial reassembly of aircraft delivered to Elixir’s American customers. A second 6,000 sq ft building will be handed over in August 2025, to continue reassembly and maintain a stock of spare parts for the US East Coast.

Moreover, to speed up deliveries, Elixir’s second site in La Rochelle is now opened in the city of Aytré for the production of OneShot composite parts. Elixir Aircraft now has 3 sites in Europe and America.
