Atlantic Flight Training Group Welcomes Training Aircraft Manufacturer Elixir Aircraft to its Training Base in the US

EuroPilot Center, a pilot training organisation headquartered in Belgium, welcomed France based training aircraft manufacturer Elixir Aircraft to Socal Pilot Center, its training location in the Coachella Valley in California, US. Both organizations will explore new horizons together, said EuroPilot Center.

Earlier in January 2024 EuroPilot Center announced the launch of an unprecedented 100.000 EUR for Airline Training Scholarships.

SoCal Pilot Center is approved by the USCIS to provide M1 Visa’s to foreign students for Flight Training under the SEVIS program.

Belgium-based Flight School Skywings Flight Training Adds New Aircraft To Its Training Fleet

Belgium-based flight school, Skywings Flight Training, is thrilled to announce the newest member of its training fleet, OO-SKE, a Diamond DA40-D acquired at the end of 2023. This addition marks a significant step in the flight school’s transition to an “all-Diamond” fleet. The flight school will deploy this aircraft to its winter base in Spain to have two DA40 operating from Mutxamel.

In addition, Skywings Flight Training is set to expand its fleet even further this year with the addition of four brand-new Diamond Aircraft DA40-NGs. With the inclusion of these four new aircraft, they will have a total fleet of 8 Diamond training aircraft and one Diamond 40/42 simulator.

  • Expansion of campus at Antwerp Airport to grow the number of classrooms and simulators
  • Plans to grow the training infrastructure in 2024 with 4 new Diamond DA40NGS and one Diamond Aircraft DA40/42 simulator

Global pilot training group Skyborne, which operates pilot training bases across the United Kingdom and United States, has signed a letter of intent with Bye Aerospace for a further 30 eFlyer all-electric training aircraft. The commitment builds on Skyborne’s 2020 order of 10 eFlyers, with a total of 40 aircraft now set to join the academy’s US fleet in Vero Beach, Florida.

Middle East Airline-Owned Flight School Turkish Airlines Flight Academy Adds 10 New Aircraft in 2023

Turkish Airlines Flight Academy (TAFA), a flight training organisation and subsidiary of Turkish Airlines, took delivery of 10 brand new Cessna 172S training aircraft in 2023 to now operate a fleet of 24 Cessna 172S aircraft.

In addition in 2023 Turkish Airlines Flight Academy (TAFA) signed an agreement with Turkish Aerospace Industries (TAI) for 20 single-engine training aircraft.

“As we prepare to carry our brand further within the scope of our vision for the next 10 years, it makes us all proud to see the high level of domestic and national opportunities and capabilities,” said Ahmet Bolat, Chairman at Turkish Airlines. “Our pilots to be trained with our aircraft to be produced by TAI will bring us closer to the fleet target of 800 aircraft, which we aim to have in 2033.”

“On the other hand, with this valuable agreement that will support TAFA to become an international pilot training center, the star of Turkish aviation will shine even brighter,” added Bolat.
