Fast Growing European Flight School FlyBy Shares July 2023 Metrics and Fleet Expansion Plan
FlyBy, an popular flight school for international aspiring pilots located in Burgos, Spain, shared that it once again became the largest flight school in terms of the number of flight operations in July 2023, based on figures from Spanish National Airport Operator, Aena.
“We have been neck and neck with number 2 for some years now (although they are still larger in the entire 2023) but it is also worth mentioning the difference in size compared to the rest of ATOs in Spain,” said CEO Alex Alvarez. “We are already 2 times larger than number 4 and 5 times larger than number 12. Not bad from a company that was almost at the bottom of the chart in 2014.”
According to Alvarez, FlyBy continues to add new aircraft to its fleet with six more to be incorporated, in total, by the end of 2023. The flight school already took delivery of two aircraft and expects four more in the coming weeks.
