  • The program is designed to strengthen Saudi Arabia’s national aviation talent pipeline, supporting the Kingdom’s broader Vision 2030 goals.
  • flyadeal CEO Steven Greenway personally welcomed the first batch of cadets during their initial training sessions and emphasized the importance of preparing skilled local pilots to support the airline’s rapid expansion.

As we prepare to mark Saudi Founding Day, I’m proud to announce almost 150 flyadeal cadet pilots will undergo training through a new government scholarship program over the next two years. I was delighted to join the initial batch of promising First Officers for their first day of A320 simulator and class training at our partner, Global Training Aviation, in Madrid. With flyadeal’s aggressive expansion – growing three-fold by 2030 – we’re going full throttle to build our national talent in the cockpit.. I look forward to joining our initial batch of cadets at their graduation later this year!” shared Steven Greenway, CEO of flyadeal.
