Middle East Aviation and Pilot Training Academy T3 Aviation Academy Invites 2024 Applications for Deputy Chief Flight Instructor Role
Sharjah, United Arab Emirates based aviation and pilot training group T3 Aviation Academy, has announced an open position for a Deputy Chief Flight Instructor (DCFI). The DCFI will play a pivotal role in ensuring the highest standards of flight instruction and compliance within the Academy’s rigorous training programs. Reporting directly to the Chief Flight Instructor (CFI), the DCFI will oversee the performance of flight instructors and trainees while maintaining seamless coordination with the contracted training providers. “Key responsibilities of the DCFI include:
- Supervising flight instructors and standardizing flight instruction.
- Monitoring trainee performance and recommending remedial training when necessary.
- Ensuring optimal instructor allocation in alignment with course requirements and trainee numbers.
- Overseeing compliance with flight and duty time limitations and investigating any reported violations.
- Reporting non-compliance by training providers to the T3 Aviation Academy CFI.
Applicants for the DCFI position must meet the following requirements:
- Hold a Commercial Pilot License (Aeroplane) with Instrument Rating (CPL(A)/IR).
- Accumulated 1000 hours as Pilot-in-Command (PIC).
- Logged 500 hours on Single-Engine aircraft, including up to 200 hours of instrument ground time.
- Completed 500 hours as a Flight Instructor (FI).
- Acquired 200 hours of Instrument Flight Rules (IFR) flying.
- Possess a valid Class One Medical Certificate issued by the licensing authority.
- Successfully completed an MPL Instructor Training Course at a GCAA-approved Approved Training Organization (ATO).
- Demonstrated strong managerial capability and expertise in the MPL Core Flying Phase.”
